Trangels

Video Artist & Organizer

Trangels is a platform for podcasts, videos, and events exploring queer, migrant, decolonial, and intersectional perspectives. Through conversations, artistic contributions, and collective encounters, the project creates a space to reflect on identity, belonging, and diverse experiences of embodiment. Focusing on themes such as monstrosity, cyborg identities, drag, and non-binary approaches to humanity, Trangels challenges normative narratives while fostering exchange, visibility, and connection. The first episodes of the programme have been filmed and are currently in post-production, alongside the development of the platform and its launch events.

Elusive Grounds

Inspired by the elusive shapes, forms and forces of fungi, the collective exhibition and sensing platform Elusive Grounds itself is a living organism. Acompanied by workshops, experiments and educational trails entanglements of complex ecological processes are facilitated during the exhibition period. We are invited to learn how to expand our limited human perspective by entering the micro-worlds of fungi and the processes of living, dying and reviving, actively challenging the binaries of art and science.

The hybrid exhibition format is a result of an intensive research phase, where the artists collaborated with the mycologist Martin Schlecht, in order to craft knowledge that mediates multiple sensual experiences and information around the communities of more-than-human agencies.

Co-director & co-producer: Documentary (2020)

The documentary portraits the diverse and intersectional alternatives of economies and human relations proposed by Argentinians social movements from the base, that act in the field of feminism, self-managed and cooperative economies as well as ecological and community-supported agriculture. In their own words, the protagonists that have fought in recent years’ struggles, share their stories and perspectives, which relate and intersect on various levels and show possible paths for a sustainable and just future. RePresente is a documentary that seeks to open a space for voices, explanations, anecdotes but also images and dynamics of a world that does not stop to inspire us – a world that provides us with new inputs for debate, criticism and creation.
The documentary is a collaboration between German and Argentine alternative media collectives which has its origin in the intense days of December 2018 when the G20 summit took place in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Future for All Congress: Art for Utopia?
Curator and Organizer (2020)

What role does art play in social transformation processes, in the development of utopias and strategies of resistance? How do our working methods, our interaction, our networks and our potential for action affect society?

Together with internationally active artists we discussed challenges for artistic practice in the current social context as well as anti-racist, decolonial and anti-patriachial strategies of artistic creation. Short performative interventions or lecture performances by the invited artists create shared sensual experiences and structure the panel.
